Happy 1st Birthday Gus Theodore

Happy Birthday to our sweet boy, Gus. Life with him is pretty wonderful.

We had hoped to be in San Diego at the beach just as we were for Mabel's first birthday but we are not able to go until the end of the month. We can't wait to see this little guy on the beach, I know he'll love it.

We planned a special day for our boy that included a picnic in the park, a nice long nap, and a rad robot cake made by Daddy. Sam went a little over board and made a cake for about 50 people. Gus was so excited when he tasted his cake he could hardly stand it while I figured out how to slice it. So I decided to put it on the ground and let him have at it. Have at it he did! What a mess, but it was adorable. He even shared with his sister.

Can't believe it's been a year. This guy has our hearts.
