week twenty five.

We spend a lot of time at our local library. It's practically a second home for the kids and I. They love going to the weekly story times, music classes or just to get books and play with friends.

Mabel: Each time we head to the library she decides on a theme for what types of books we should check out. Princesses, Firetrucks and baby animals happen most often.

Gus: When we hit the doors of the library he runs directly to the children's room and gives Miss Meredith, the librarian a huge hug. You can either find him building towers, playing trains or taking down the entire shelf of DVDs.

week twenty four.

We took the kids to the Children's Museum of Phoenix this week and they had a blast. There was so much to do for the little ones, everywhere you looked there was a new pint sized hands-on experience to get there little brains moving. So cool and we'll definitely being making a trip again.

Mabel: Her favorite section was the trike section where kids learned about obeying traffic signals and got to take there trikes through a "car wash".

Gus: He enjoyed the build your own fort section and gave me a heart attack when he got lost in the noodle forest. Thankfully the place is filled with very well trained workers who can spot a lost child in no time.

week twenty three.

It's been too hot to do anything outside other than swimming. I'm grateful both my babies love the water. I love watching them splash around and have fun together.

week twenty two.

Mabel:  I love getting to know her and seeing her personality develop. She's so witty. We're trying to decide if preschool this fall is the right thing for her. Those eyes.

Gus: He is always talking about Dinosaurs and trucks. He really is the coolest kid. That hair.
